After losing to the Tri County Area Vikings the last time they met, the Zion Christian Mountaineers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Zion Christian walked away with a 54-41 victory over Tri County Area on Monday.

Despite the loss, Tri County Area still got an impressive performance from Trenton McNees, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals. McNees also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Brennan Grabinski, who scored 12 points.

Zion Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Tri County Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Zion Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Galesburg-Augusta at 7:00 p.m. Galesburg-Augusta will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Tri County Area, they will head out on the road to challenge Hesperia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
