Volleyball Recap: Payson Comes Up Short

Payson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pleasant Grove Vikings.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-10.

Payson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Pleasant Grove, the win also got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Payson is set to challenge their familiar foe Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove will square off against rival Timpview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
