Baseball Game Preview: Waverly Central Tigers vs. Lewis County Panthers

Waverly Central hasn't had much luck against Lewis County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Waverly Central Tigers face off against Lewis County Panthers at 5:00 p.m.

Waverly Central fell victim to Lewis County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 7-0.

For Lewis County's part, the team relied heavily on Braylon Bean, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Bean has posted since back in March of 2024. Kegan Carroll-Clayton was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Waverly Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lewis County, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
