Volleyball Recap: Aurora West College Prep Academy Victorious

Aurora West College Prep Academy won the last time they faced Poudre Community Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-22, 11-25, 25-12.

Lizett Diaz had an outrageously good game as she had 17 aces and eight assists. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Diaz wasn't the only good servers: Aurora West College Prep Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Aurora West College Prep Academy's record now sits at 6-12. As for Poudre Community Academy, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Coincidentally, Aurora West College Prep Academy and Poudre Community Academy will both be playing William Smith the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
