Basketball Recap: Glenburn Extends Winning Streak to Three

Glenburn waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against Powers Lake/Burke Central by a score of 53-41. This was payback for the Panther, who suffered a 50-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Glenburn has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Glenburn will host Kenmare/Bowbells at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Kenmare/Bowbells will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Glenburn surely won't give up without a fight. Powers Lake/Burke Central has already played their next game (against Tioga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
