Avery Duke put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Duke and Excel will square off against Washington County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers had to take a loss when they last met the Bulldogs, but Duke had little to do with the loss: she fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-5.
