Football Game Preview: Broadway Gobblers vs. Turner Ashby Knights + How To Watch

Broadway is 2-8 against Turner Ashby since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Gobblers will square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Turner Ashby will be up against a hot Broadway squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Gobblers were the clear victors by a 27-6 margin over Spotswood on Friday. The Gobblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 21 points or more this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tanner Hinkle and Jayce Suters. Hinkle rushed for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries while Suters gained 84 total yards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Turner Ashby against William Monroe on Friday as the squad secured a 37-6 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-0.

Broadway's record now sits at 6-0. As for Turner Ashby, their record is now 4-1.

Broadway might still be hurting after the 31-6 loss they got from Turner Ashby when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Gobblers, Micah Matthews (who picked up 79 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 42 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
