Basketball Recap: Horn Lake Comes Up Short

Horn Lake came up into this matchup off a tough 33-point loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Southaven Chargers by a score of 41-38 on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Horn Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Southaven, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Coming up, Horn Lake is taking a road trip to square off against Starkville at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Southaven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
