Senath-Hornersville has gone a perfect 4-0 against Gideon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lions will host the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Senath-Hornersville will be strutting in after a victory while Gideon will be coming in after a loss.

While Senath-Hornersville's win against Caruthersville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Tigers 7-5. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Gideon had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 15-0 to Holcomb. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.

Senath-Hornersville's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Gideon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Senath-Hornersville came out on top in a nail-biter against Gideon in their previous meeting back in March of 2021, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
