Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clyde). They managed a 54-49 victory over the Muleshoe Mules on Friday. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 63-48 win the Mules walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Muleshoe lost, don't look at Josue Sigala. Despite the final result, he rushed for 226 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 105 yards and one TD on only nine passes. Sigala's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Noah Hernandez was another key player, picking up 156 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

The victory made it two in a row for Clyde and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
