Starr's Mill waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers by a score of 2-0. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2016.

While Starr's Mill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24.

Sammie Brady paced Starr's Mill's offense, picking up seven kills. Brady got some help from Katie Gutshall and her 12 assists. Sophia Olson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Starr's Mill's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-5-1.

Starr's Mill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Woodward Academy on the 23rd. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Creekside Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
