Aransas Pass entered their tilt with George West on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the George West Longhorns, posting an 83-42 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

George West's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Balew, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points and eight boards. That's the most points Balew has posted since back in December of 2024. Tristen Blevins was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Aransas Pass' win bumped their record up to 22-12. As for George West, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15.

Coming up, Aransas Pass is taking a road trip to challenge Taft at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Aransas Pass is facing Taft at the right time seeing as Taft is stuck on a three-game losing streak. George West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
