Volleyball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the First Colonial Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for First Colonial, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Salem will venture away from home to face off against Green Run at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for First Colonial, they will challenge Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
