Softball Recap: West Branch Takes a Loss

West Branch came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Louisville Leopards. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Leopards from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Mati Hawk was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.

West Branch's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Louisville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-10-1.

West Branch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-7 win against Salem on the 8th. As for Louisville, they have also already played their next game, a 15-5 victory against Washington on the 8th.
