On Friday, Jonesboro faced North Little Rock in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Jonesboro Hurricane skirted past the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats 52-50. The Hurricane haven't had any issues with the Charging Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jonesboro's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for North Little Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jonesboro will challenge Little Rock Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. Little Rock Southwest knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Jonesboro likes a good challenge. North Little Rock will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
