It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Belton-Honea Path had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Powdersville Patriots 35-14. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 12 games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.4 points per game. As for Powdersville, with the defeat, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.
