Basketball Game Preview: Chopticon Braves vs. Great Mills Hornets + Official Tickets

Chopticon is 2-8 against Great Mills since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Braves will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Hornets at 6:15 p.m.

Chopticon is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell 57-45 to Westlake on Friday.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Great Mills against Huntingtown on Monday as the team secured an 83-41 victory. The Hornets have beaten the Hurricanes the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hurricanes has come to flipping the script.

Chopticon suffered a grim 79-56 defeat to Great Mills in their previous meeting back in February. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Hornets' Cam Brooks, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards. Now that the Braves know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
