Softball Recap: Jurupa Valley Jaguars vs. Santa Rosa Academy Rangers

Jurupa Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Sophia Padilla made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Saytha Sanchez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.
