Calvary Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Bishop Verot Vikings get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Bishop Verot's batters probably weren't too happy with Morgen Talley, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (she gave up three walks). Talley has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Bell, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Braylee Rano, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

The victory (which was Calvary Christian's tenth in a row) raised their record to 28-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Bishop Verot, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-8 record.

As of now, neither Calvary Christian nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
