Memphis waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They breezed by the Amarillo Collegiate Academy Eagles to the tune of 82-21. That looming 82-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cyclones yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Armando Saenz, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Saenz's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abel Villa, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

Saenz wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Memphis was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Amarillo Collegiate Academy only racked up six assists.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trapper Ernst, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Hutson, who put up eight points and seven rebounds.

Memphis' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Amarillo Collegiate Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Memphis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-36 defeat against Non Varsity Opponent on the 14th. As for Amarillo Collegiate Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-19 loss against Happy on the 12th.
