Basketball Game Preview: Ocosta Wildcats vs. Neah Bay Red Devils + How To Watch

The Ocosta Wildcats will face off against the Neah Bay Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Ocosta took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-32 victory over Lake Quinault. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 17th (when they won 63-16).

Sonny Beard was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 28 points and nine rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Bottleson, who went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and five assists.

Ocosta was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Neah Bay never let Concrete get on the board and left with a 107-0 win on Saturday.

Ocosta's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Neah Bay, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
