With a playoff win on the line, Chapin rose to the challenge on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Americas Trail Blazers a 3-0 shutout. Considering Chapin have won 12 matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chapin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those ten contests. Americas' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7-2.

Looking ahead, Chapin will take on Tascosa on Monday. Tascosa will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chapin surely won't give up without a fight. Americas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
