Football Recap: Hawkins Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Hawkins extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jamarieah Wallace. The Hawks enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Rancho Dominguez Lobos on Friday thanks in part to Wallace, who rushed for 160 yards and one score on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 99 yards.

Hawkins' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Rancho Dominguez, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawkins will face off against Verbum Dei Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rancho Dominguez, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Locke at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
