Softball Game Preview: Gainesville Bulldogs vs. Dora Falcons

The Gainesville Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Dora Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dora took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gainesville, who comes in off a win.

Gainesville can't be too worried about heading out to take on Dora: they just beat Fordland at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-4 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Dora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to Mansfield.

Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Gainesville, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Gainesville took their victory against Dora in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 26-1 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
