Rockwood's loss came about despite a quality game from Alexandru Manescu, who went 6 for 14 en route to 16 points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave Manescu a new career-high. Zander Ritenour was another key player, putting up eight points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Fannett Metal was able to grind out a solid victory over Belleville Mennonite on Friday, taking the game 51-38. Fannett Metal hasn't had any issues with Belleville Mennonite recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Fannett Metal's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Rockwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-20.
