Basketball Recap: Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks vs. Academy of Our Lady Penguins
Archbishop Chapelle took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They breezed by the Academy of Our Lady Penguins to the tune of 44-5. The Chipmunks pushed the score to 40-5 by the end of the third, a deficit the Penguins had no chance of recovering from.
Archbishop Chapelle found their leader in freshman Molly Avrard, who scored nine points plus two steals. Kaylee Dublin was another key player, earning eight points in addition to two steals.
Archbishop Chapelle will welcome Lakeshore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academy of Our Lady, they will face off against St. John at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
