Desert Vista won the last time they faced Valley Vista and things went their way on Friday too. The Thunder walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Monsoon.

Desert Vista got a great performance from Kason Webb as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave Webb a new career-high.

At the plate, Desert Vista let Noah Gutierrez and Jayden Garrison run wild. Gutierrez went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Garrison went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Alex McKee was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
