Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deer Valley). Their defense stepped up to hand the Agua Fria Owls an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The score was close at the half, but the Skyhawks pulled away in the second half with seven goals.

Deer Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Agua Fria, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
