Volleyball Recap: Tioga Takes a Loss

Tioga lost against Velva two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Aggies. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Tioga was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-15.

Velva can attribute much of their success to Keely Cadwell, who had 19 digs. That's the most digs Cadwell has posted since back in September.

Tioga now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Velva, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Tioga nor Velva have any future games scheduled.
