Basketball Game Preview: Dickson Academy Falcons vs. HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots

The Dickson Academy Falcons and the HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Dickson Academy took on Zion Christian Academy last Friday. Dickson Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to Zion Christian Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in November (55), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, HomeSchool Resource Center humbled Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep with a 67-31 victory.

Dickson Academy better keep an eye on Noel Green. He was instrumental in HomeSchool Resource Center's win, dropping a triple-double on 18 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Green is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Fisher, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 18 points and seven boards.

HomeSchool Resource Center was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Dickson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
