Basketball Game Preview: Dinwiddie Generals vs. Meadowbrook Monarchs

Dinwiddie and Meadowbrook are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Dinwiddie Generals will challenge the Meadowbrook Monarchs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Dinwiddie will be strutting in after a victory while Meadowbrook will be coming in after a defeat.

Dinwiddie took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took down Colonial Heights 68-50.

Meanwhile, Meadowbrook scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against Prince George, falling 62-31. The Monarchs haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Dinwiddie's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Meadowbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything came up roses for Dinwiddie against Meadowbrook in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-23 victory. Does Dinwiddie have another victory up their sleeve, or will Meadowbrook turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
