Baseball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers, falling 23-2. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Valley will take on Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they will face off against Fern Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
