Softball Recap: Edison Triumphs

Edison got themselves on the board against Segerstrom on Tuesday, but Segerstrom never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Jaguars.

The result came thanks to Elina Garcia's shutout, as she gave up just four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Catron, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Edison now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will be taking part in a tournament against North at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Segerstrom, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Tesoro at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
