Softball Recap: Lowellville Takes a Loss

Lowellville lost against Mineral Ridge on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets came up short against the Rams, falling 11-1.

Morgan Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Poala Andino, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Lowellville's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mineral Ridge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowellville will venture away from home to challenge Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Mineral Ridge, they will challenge Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
