Baseball Recap: Merrimack Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Merrimack had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Manchester Memorial Crusaders by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tomahawks have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Merrimack got a good showing from Lucas Mantini, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
