Orangeburg Prep won against St. John's Christian Academy on Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Everything went the Indians' way against the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Charlie McCutchen was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Hunter Judy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Tilden Riley, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Orangeburg Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Patrick Henry Academy only managed five hits.

Orangeburg Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Patrick Henry Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orangeburg Prep will square off against Bamberg-Ehrhardt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they will challenge Andrew Jackson Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
