Volleyball Recap: Ware Takes a Loss

Ware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Springfield Renaissance, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Springfield Renaissance this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Ware ultimately came up short, they really made Springfield Renaissance work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 25-11.

Ware's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Springfield Renaissance, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ware will take on rival Sci-Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Springfield Renaissance is set to challenge their familiar foe Smith Vo-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
