Volleyball Recap: Maryville Christian Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Maryville Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Bunker Hill Minutemen by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Minutemen recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Maryville Christian was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13.

Maryville Christian had a senior duo take command as Jayden Huff had nine kills, seven digs, and five aces and Titus Verning had four digs, two aces, and one block. Verning is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played.
