Centaurus is 8-2 against Longmont since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Longmont will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Centaurus extended their winning streak to six on Thursday. The Warriors never let Frederick get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Give Centaurus' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

They hit Frederick with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tristan Helfert (2), Marius Salzberger, and Jack Lyle.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Longmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mead with a sharp 5-1 victory on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Longmont's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 7-3-2. As for Centaurus, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Centaurus was able to grind out a solid win over Longmont in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
