Basketball Recap: Garden Grove Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

If Tarbut V' Torah wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Garden Grove, they should've done a better job of containing Neiman Quach. The Garden Grove Argonauts blew past the Tarbut V' Torah Lions 70-44 on Saturday thanks in part to Quach, who posted 14 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high.

The win (which was Garden Grove's third in a row) raised their record to 11-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Tarbut V' Torah, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1.

Garden Grove will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Katella at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Tarbut V' Torah also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against First Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
