Immokalee has gone a perfect 10-0 against East Lee County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will host the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Immokalee took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Naples Classical 24-1. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Immokalee got a massive performance out of Diego Gutierrez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave Gutierrez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ruben Anzualda, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Immokalee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, East Lee County hadn't done well against Lehigh recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Lightning.
Adrian Warden made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. East Lee County is 2-1 when Warden allows three or fewer hits, but 4-8 otherwise. Warden was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, Massiah Agosto was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of East Lee County's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 2-8 when he doesn't). Angel Mangual was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Immokalee's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for East Lee County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.
Immokalee took their victory against East Lee County in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
