Basketball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 65-54 to the Keyser Golden Tornado. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Tornado apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Keyser's victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Frankfort will venture away from home to square off against Mountain Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Frankfort is facing Mountain Ridge at the right time seeing as Mountain Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Keyser, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Preston at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
