Volleyball Recap: Douglas County Wins High-Profile Game Against Pueblo South

On Saturday, Douglas County faced Pueblo South in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Douglas County Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pueblo South Colts, sneaking past 2-1. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Douglas County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Seth Dickerson paced Douglas County's offense, picking up eight kills. Dickerson got some help from Blake Allen and his 16 assists. Jayden Chan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
