Volleyball Game Preview: Harbor Teacher Monarchs vs. Gertz-Ressler Pumas

The Harbor Teacher Monarchs will take on the Gertz-Ressler Pumas at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harbor Teacher has nine straight wins, Gertz-Ressler has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Harbor Teacher made easy work of Crenshaw and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Harbor Teacher was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Gertz-Ressler came up short against Neuwirth Leadership Academy on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Gertz-Ressler was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-22.

Gertz-Ressler's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Harbor Teacher, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
