Basketball Recap: Metropolitan Victorious

Metropolitan won the last time they faced Flushing and things went their way on Friday too. Metropolitan came out on top against the Flushing Red Devils by a score of 50-38.

Metropolitan's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Flushing, they moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Metropolitan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-46 victory against Long Island City on the 1st. As for Flushing, they will challenge Newtown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flushing is on a three-game streak of home wins, Newtown a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
