Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chouteau-Mazie). They walked away with a 40-28 victory over the Warner Eagles on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their eight-point performance the matchup before.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Collins, who rushed for 90 yards and one score. Warner also got help from Colt Thompson, who showed off his sure hands for 88 receiving yards.

Chouteau-Mazie's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Warner, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chouteau-Mazie will welcome Hulbert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Riders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Warner, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rejoice Christian at 7:00 p.m. Rejoice Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Warner surely won't give up without a fight.
