Elida is 6-0 against Fort Jennings since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Elida Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Fort Jennings Musketeers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elida will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Coldwater, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Elida rang in the new year with a 45-36 win over Coldwater on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fort Jennings, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They managed a 43-38 victory over St. John's on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Musketeers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Fort Jennings' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Elida, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Elida beat Fort Jennings 44-32 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elida since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
