Wethersfield lost to Elmwood back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Flying Geese managed a 41-35 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flying Geese.

Elmwood's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrea Glenn, who posted 11 points and four steals. Brooke Allen was another key player, putting up five points in addition to eight boards and eight steals.
