Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

Woodlawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 52-37 fall against the Mountain Brook Spartans. The contest was a 19-19 toss-up at halftime, but the Colonels couldn't quite close it out.

Woodlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Mountain Brook, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Huffman the next time they take the court. Woodlawn will host Huffman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mountain Brook will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
