El Camino is a perfect 7-0 against Oceanside since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. El Camino will be playing at home against Oceanside at 6:00 p.m. Oceanside took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on El Camino, who comes in off a win.

El Camino barely beat Orange Glen the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. El Camino was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Orange Glen on Friday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

While El Camino might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Orange Glen scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Oceanside didn't have quite enough to beat Valley Center on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for El Camino, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-9.

El Camino came out on top in a nail-biter against Oceanside in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will El Camino repeat their success, or does Oceanside has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
